Holding a B.S. in Computer Engineering and Ph.D. in Biomedicine, Emre Guney has extensive experience on analysis of expression and sequencing data, pathway-based modelling, interaction networks and machine learning. His main research interests include translational systems medicine, disease bioinformatics and network pharmacology, and mainly driven by modelling complex processes using large-scale data sets, that is, extracting statistically meaningful patterns from interconnected biological data. He is a member of International Society of Computational Biology.
